Have Well-Used U.S. Passport, Will Travel
I bring more than the basic qualifications to you:
* The basics:
* Cook (I
can "do" a dinner party for eight single-handedly),
* Clean
(with the aid of modern machinery nothing's a real problem),
* Drive
anything from a motorcycle to your car to a 45-foot RV, and most power water
craft, too.
* Maintain
a house, large or small (I am a landlord with 38 years experience)
*
Supervise staff or contractors (ditto), and
* Manage
the money (I've been using computerised accounting software since 1984).
* The not-so-basics:
* Literate
(I know the difference between Thomas Wolfe and Tom Wolfe),
*
Classically trained in music (I know the difference between Bach and Berg. And
Blues and Bebop),
* Speak
English and German like the native I am and have a smattering of the other
Romance languages and some Russian,
* At home
at your club or on the road,
*
Old-school manners and well-spoken,
* Have the
"uniforms," from khakis to black tie, and
* I know
the difference between traveler and tourist. I've been a traveler from Arctic
Ocean to Chile in the New World. From Russian to Western Europe in the Old
World.
* The practical:
* I know
how to manage health issues,
* I do
bookkeeping and manage investments, and
* Willing
to travel for my next assignment.
The good news? You can have my services for a month's
trial: $2,000, room and board additional.
Or yearly at $24,000, room and board additional.
The bad news? I have high standards.
