Since 1974, in the Washington, DC, metro area, I managed
the renovation of dozens of single- and multi-family houses, apartment buildings
and commercial properties. Several individual construction projects were valued
at over a million dollars. In Sarasota, FL, from 1995 - 98, I bought, renovated
and held for investment four single-family homes. In addition, I was the
construction manager and owner of the first solar-heated, urban townhouse in
Washington, DC.

several books. The manuscript for "American SW Adventures" is
completed. The manuscript for one on the Gila River is well in progress.
Another on U.S. Route 11 is also well under way. Planned for each are an
illustrated coffee table book, a travel guide book, a recipe book with recipes
from restaurants along the way, a music CD of songs played by local bands along
the way, and a travel video. Material on hand includes illustrated, 1,000-word,
travel pieces published as "private" Web pages.
